I graduated from TCU with my BBA in Accounting and Finance and worked in the accounting field for 10 years prior to having my kids.  Volunteering as a mentor to engaged couples spurned me to pursue a career change and I earned my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy.

I specialize in premarital and marriage counseling, utilizing the renowned Gottman Method, the Prepare/Enrich program, and other modalities as appropriate. My passion lies in guiding couples towards deeper understanding, healthier communication, and lasting intimacy.  I provide a nurturing space for couples to explore their dynamics, strengthen their bond, and develop the skills needed for a thriving partnership. Using evidence-based techniques from the Gottman Method, we work together to enhance trust, manage conflicts constructively, and foster a culture of appreciation and respect. Additionally, with my diverse background in both accounting/finance and couples counseling, I bring a unique perspective to helping couples work through issues surrounding money and helping couples discuss this high-conflict topic in constructive ways.

In addition to couples therapy, I have a deep commitment to supporting individuals on their journey towards self-acceptance and personal growth. Whether you're a teen navigating the challenges of adolescence or an adult struggling with life's complexities, I offer compassionate guidance to help you overcome obstacles, cultivate healthy boundaries, and embrace your true self.

My approach is rooted in the belief that every person deserves to live authentically and love deeply. Through a blend of empathy, insight, and practical tools, I empower clients to cultivate self-awareness, build resilience, and create fulfilling relationships based on mutual respect and understanding.

Outside of counseling, I love to spend time with my family – dinners together, family games, listening to audio books, watching tv, or hiking together on our annual trip to Colorado.  My two girls are entering their teen years so some of that time is now spent in the car as we help them pursue their interests, but I count it all joy even if it is sometimes exhausting.
